Apollo Save Tool released

It’s summer, you’re spending the days between the sun and the swimming pool… so what do you do with that amount of free time? You make Apollo, a new homebrew app for the PS3! Grin

you might wonder… why is it called Apollo?
Apollo was the twin brother of Artemis, goddess of the hunt. Since this project was born using the Artemis-GUI codebase, I decided to respect that heritage by calling it Apollo.

So, without further ado, let’s present Apollo:

Apollo Save Tool is an application to manage save-game files on the PlayStation 3.
The apollo-ps3 homebrew app allows to download, unlock, patch and resign save-game files directly on your PS3.

As usual, full source code is available on GitHub

    1. Hi your save doesn’t work, you can resign the save but when you load profiles in the game it’s appear like corrupt data profile.

    2. Hello Bucareno,
When will it be possible to do as save wizard (import a save that was modified for example gta v editor) then create a signed save.

      Thanks

  1. Bucanero, your work is amazing.

I don’t know if you think about saving and transferring trophies too, it would be awesome.

    Just wanted to thank you

    1. hello, Bucanero. I only recently learned of your work. I tried using Apollo to apply chests to a mgs4 save but it did not work. could you provide me with the proper steps to do this?

  2. Hello there Bucanero, i would appreciate if you could add encrypt PFD files in your apollo save tool because i do hex edit in my save files.

    1. Hello
I think you’re lucky Smile in the latest version (v1.5.0) I added an option to import decrypted files back to the original save-game.

So, if you do manual hex editing, you can use that option to import back the edited file. It has to be in decrypted format, as Apollo will re-encrypt it as required by the game and PARAM.PFD .

  5. I have an error when cheating the game Skyrim, the error is: “Error! cheat codes couldn’t be applied

  6. Hi. Thank you for the great app.
Does this app allow me to use legit save file with fpkg games on PS4? It certainly looks more than powerful enough to do that, but info on this is limited. Thank you

  7. Hi Buk,
I don’t know if you’re taking feature suggestions for Apollo or not but I thought asking wouldn’t hurt.
Would it be possible to implement some kind of in-game save backup feature for the games without static save points? hear me out: some games autosave periodically while you’re playing, meaning that most of the actions you take in-game are permanent. Would be nice if there was a savestates-like tool that takes snapshots of the game’s save folder, either manually via a button combo or automatically on a specified interval.
Made a bad choice? Want to fight that boss again? missed that once in a playthrough item? you can go back to it with a click.
Not sure if this would work as a feature on Apollo or as something entirely separate like a sprx plugin or something like that, but if it’s possible I think it would be neat and be useful to many people.
    Cheers.

  8. Nice work! I used Apollo to unlock the online trophies for GT5, since the servers are down. Now I got all trophies but the game is only 98% at the XMB. Did I do something wrong? How do I get a 100%?

  9. Hello.
Congrats on Apollo Save Tools that is of great help.
A question would it be possible to use it in the RPCS3 emulator?
    Att…

  10. I use PS5 latest patches fully online, my ps4 is 9.00 jailbreaked to modify ps4 saves only.

I like this software, i hoping new patches to decrypt games like MGS Phantom Pain.

The Outer Worlds 1.00 save can decrypt but not 1.08,
MGS Phantom Pain can decrypt but not files inside.

Some games have second layer encryption, or some custom checksums.

Some older UE4 saves have encryptions that cannot decrypt this software. I have tested tons of games, what game saves works & what doesnt. Even some new games works perfectly.

I started to making list what games & saves can be hacked, some saves can fully modify & some partial modify.

  11. Hello Mr. Bucanero, I wanted to inform you that there is an error with the Tales of Xillia cheats for PS3, I request that you please repair it

  12. Hey Bucanero,

I am trying to play Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight (ps4 game) on my PS5 using a fpkg, but it keeps freezing at the auto-save point. As a solution, I was hoping to get a copy of this game’s save file online and use your Apollo save to decrypt it and then put the save on my PS5 via ftp, but I unfortunately don’t have a PS4 to run your program.

Is there any way you can help? Is it possible to decrypt a PS4 save via PC, without a PS4?

    Thank you Smile

  13. hello buccaneer
My hard drive has been damaged with the consequent loss of my games, but I saved the games on a USB but when I transferred them back to the new HDD it gave me a corrupted data error. I have tried everything but the error persists.
